3rd Annual “Say Humbug to Hunger”

Heartfelt thanks to our audiences that made this year’s benefit performance of “A Christmas Carol” such a wonderful success.  Food and monetary donations were distributed to The Frenchtown Presbyterian Food Pantry, Flemington Food Pantry, Fisherman’s Mark in Lambertville, NJ, and the Lord’s Pantry in Ottsville, PA.  Special thanks to our sponsors, the Delaware River Mill Society and ShopRite of Hunterdon County.

River Union Stage, the Delaware River Mill Society, and ShopRite of Hunterdon County are pleased to present a special holiday reading of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” at the Prallsville Mills in Stockton, NJ on Friday and Saturday, December 16 and 17 at 8:00 PM, and Sunday, December 18 at 2:00 PM to benefit local food pantries.  Admission is free with a donation of food, cash, or check for food pantries in Frenchtown, Flemington, Lambertville, and Ottsville.

The rustic warmth of the Prallsville gristmill provides the perfect setting for a dramatic reading of this holiday classic.  Food and cash donations will be divided among the four food pantries.  Checks made out to a specific food pantry will also be accepted.  Please check the expiration date on food donations to be sure they are current.

Funding has been made possible in part by the New Jersey Council of the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts and Hunterdon County Board of Chosen Freeholders, through funds administered by the Hunterdon County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
